she's a cute little stray that wandered into our yard about a month ago. she was in rough shape and we really didn't know if she would make it - but we put food out for her and eventually she let us come up to her - though she wasn't really thrilled when we got up the nerve to revolution her. but in the end, she adopted us just as much as we adopted her.
she's at the vet today - getting spayed/neutered and all the necessary shots and tests necessary to make her an inside kitty!
and i swear, this is the last one. :P
What are your plans for the weekend?
Friday and Sunday are my usual days off, and so, in honor of the holiday (which is also the anniversary of meeting my husband), I took this Saturday off as well, and Monday is a short day - so, it's a super long weekend for me.
Yesterday we went out for a nice lunch at the Olive Garden (soup, salad, and breadsticks and I still managed to stuff myself), then stopped off at the library. My plans for taking a nap were waylaid by watching the last 3 hours of Veronica Mars (ever, boo!), then we went out for a slushie from Sonic. I made a trip to walmart later, which means all my running around for the weekend is done, so I came home and fell happily onto the couch for cuddles!
Today, I got paid to shop (okay, so I spent more money that I made, but it was fun) and eat a yummy hamburger at Logans. JoAnn's fabric had some great deals on fabric, and I got new curtains and tv trays (as seen on tv, even).
My plans for the rest of the weekend, include lots of self indulgence. Watching movies, reading fanfic, playing with my site, sewing lots (I have several projects I'd like to finish up, and few new ones to start)- very important slacking, I tell you.
Which reminds me, I think I need to schedule a few more Saturdays off.
